As a result of a
series of operations by Kurdish forces and coalition airstrikes, 27 ISIS
members have been killed in Kobane.
Peshmerga commander
Abdulkahar Mecid said that ISIS had tried to launch an attack at 23.30 last
night but were faced with heavy fire and were subsequently repelled.
Mecid also said that
after the clashes, coalition fighter jets carried out a series of operations
against ISIS positions between 04.00 and 07.00 during which a total of 6
bombardments were carried out.
The Peshmerga
commander said that YPG and YPJ fighters crossed enemy lines and killed 27 ISIS
members, including one emir.
